Michael is local to the area, living in Bishop Monkton, Ripon and has been with Eccles Heddon since July 2022.

Previously from a financial services background, Michael retrained with a law conversion and has not looked back.  Having made a positive impact within the Residential Conveyancing Team, Michael became a Trainee Solicitor in January 2024, primarily working within the firm’s Private Client and Property Departments under Oliver Riley and David Shackleton.  Michael is due to qualify in January 2026. 

Michael is polite and friendly – he will often be the first point of contact for you and would be pleased to assist / explain any queries you may have on a range of matters; including those from Residential or Commercial Property to Wills, Trusts & Probate.  Michael’s proactive approach is continually praised by our clients.

Outside of work, Michael is a devotee of the local countryside and its farming heritage and will often be found at weekends on a ramble in ‘God’s Own,’ usually near Ripon or in Nidderdale.’”
